We welcome Raymond, here to talk with us about his story for Clamour and Mischief titled "The Girl and the Crow."

The most unexpected thing I learnt while researching for “The Girl and the Crow” was that dogs eat birds sometimes. (Although I didn't end up using the information, it was really surprising.)

My favourite thing about being part of Clamour and Mischief was the opportunity to share my writing with the world and explore a new genre that I hadn't really stepped foot in.

My favourite corvid has to be the crow, because they are really fascinating and are both clever and mischievous. The other reason is I don't know of many corvids!

R.D. White is a 13-year-old writer from Queensland. His hobbies include Minecraft, piano and Star Wars and he would gladly talk about them for hours on end. He started writing in 2016 and while he mainly writes science fiction and fantasy, he enjoys exploring new genres. He often participates in poem and short story competitions, but has been striving to get a novel officially published for years. R.D. White is extremely excited to be a part of Clamour and Mischief, suggested to him by his mentor, writer and editor Narrelle M Harris.

He wrote “The Girl and the Crow” with a humorous but meaningful story in mind, and hopes that everyone can find something to relate to when reading it.
